It will happen again.

Masses of frustrated poor people live in the suburb of all the big capitals. They cannot live the life they wish, the life they see others can live. They cannot afford it, or they are just rejected because of their name or exotic appearance.

The vast majority have a specific ethnic and religious background: but this is not an ethnic or religious issue, this is a social issue. They have the same nationality, but they are segregated in the poor and ugly suburbs. They wear Gucci hat. They are hostage of humble jobs. Their mothers clean the urine from the toilets where the “others”, the luckier, work and live.

So the frustration and hate grow in their mind. The religion is just an excuse to release the frustration and hate. They have nothing to lose, so it is easier to give the life away, and to believe in a paradise with tons virgins waiting for you. So it is easier to find identity in something else. Unfortunately religions (all the religions) cannot be banned from the world. Yet. Stop interviewing the “moderate muslims” in TV to remind the public there are differences and we should not generalize: you are completely missing the point.

But if the objective is the terror, if the hate is against this life style, then we know what to do. The weapon in our arms is to insist even more in enjoying beauty of what is available in a free world. Exercise the beauty of music, art, food, the beauty of freedom of going out, of using your body in the most immoral ways. Exploit all the possibilities to generate happiness for you and the others around you.

If everyone keep doing this, terror is not terror anymore.
